Hello and a warm welcome!
Thank you for your interest in visiting our congregation's home page. Our members have been active as a church family in the Inland Empire for nearly 50 years. So I am glad that we have finally met, right here, via the Internet. Our members are engaged in a dynamic fellowship that includes worship services, bible studies, seminars, adult development clubs, and educational programming for children of all ages.
However, we are more than simply a local fellowship. Our membership is dedicated to practicing and spreading the wonderful life-changing reality of the gospel of Jesus Christ and the coming Kingdom of God. Joining our sister congregations around the world, we publish and produce |
The Good News Magazine, World News & Prophecy Magazine, booklets, and videos that cover the globe in many languages.
Our purpose is summed up in our mission statement: “ The United Church of God-Redlands is a part of the spiritual body of Jesus Christ and is a congregation within the United Church of God, an International Association. Together, we preach the gospel about Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God into the entire world. We are committed to creating and maintaining a positive, dynamic and nurturing environment based on the Bible, the Word of God. This allows all members to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, laboring in love and unity to serve all.”
Thus, we humbly strive to uphold God's admonition through the Apostle Paul to “rightly divide the word of truth… prove all things, hold fast, that which is good” (2 Timothy 2:15 & 1 Thessalonians 5:21). Additionally, we strive to mirror Christ's defining words regarding His followers that “by this shall all men know you are my disciples, if you have love for one another” (John 13:35).
Therefore, our Bibles and our hearts and our church doors are open to receive God's love and truth, and to welcome those who come to learn the wonderful things of God. So as we strive to reach around the world, we are equally dedicated to serve one another and members of our community through community-based lay elders and member networks.
Yes, we are right here in your community. I hope we can be of service to you.
Sincerely,
Robin and Susan Webber |
